Gavin Feller joins Richie to talk about his new book, Eternity in the Ether: A Mormon Media History. Gavin explores the way Latter-day Saints have engaged with new media throughout their history. Be it radio, television, or the Internet, Gavin shares a fascinating look at the ways we have engaged in these mediums as they emerged and how that has changed over time.
Gavin Feller is a media producer, researcher, and startup founder. After completing a PhD in 2017, Gavin taught media courses at Southern Utah University for two years before taking a research position at a university in northern Sweden. In 2021, Gavin left academia to co-found the world’s-first kid-to-kid cultural education company, KidCulture. Gavin lives in southern Brasil with his wife and four kids. He loves to play beach tennis, hike, cook, and attempt to surf.
