In the Saturday Morning session of the October 2022 General Conference a new “Choose your own adventure” edition of the For the Strength of Youth came out. Kurt Francom (Leading Saints and This Week in Mormons) and Richie share thoughts on the changes. The new guide is titled For the Strength Youth: A Guide for Making Choices. This updated version of FSY has less dos and don’ts, and more counsel to study, pray, and seek out wise heavenly and earthly help in making choices. There is more focus on Jesus Christ, counseling youth to “…turn to the Savior. He is the “strength of youth.”” Kurt and Richie break it down and discuss the various potential reactions to these changes.
