James C. Jones is a voice actor, grad student, and cohost of the podcast Beyond the Block, a show that seeks to center the marginalized in Mormonism. After graduating from BYU, he moved to Boston to work as an acappella performer and toured for six years. Shortly after transitioning into voice over work, he started graduate school at Union Theological Seminary, where he’s currently studying Black Liberation Theology. His work is featured in Dialogue: Journal of Mormon Thought, the Salt Lake Tribune, KUER, By Common Consent, and more.
