Jon Clark is a TV music composer by day and cartoonist, book author/illustrator, and artist in his spare time. He started Honest Jon as an editorial cartoon for local newspapers before finding an audience (12k+ on Instagram at its peak) lampooning the oddities of LDS culture with a bit more edge than most LDS cartoonists. He is regularly featured for years in the FTSO Youth magazine (his less edgy stuff) and has also been in The Sunstone magazine, Meridian and others. Jon Clark has been drawing funny stuff during Church to stay reverent for decades. Ok–not in church anymore ; ). He is an active LDS member serving recently as bishop of his ward in Tennessee. His cartoons are featured often in the Church magazines and on his Instagram @honestjoncomics.
