Matthew Timion is a single father living in the Chicago area.

Originally from the Midwest Matthew moved to Southern California which took him on a path few experience: into Mormonism. After six years of a faithful believer (serving a compulsory two-year mission to the Philippines and marrying in the Mormon temple) he left the faith – which eventually led to the end of his young marriage.

Afterwards his travels brought him to live in Salt Lake City, Utah for eight years, which resulted in a life-changing story most cannot fathom.

His unique perspective into Mormon culture, his own upbringing, and the insane people he has met along the way make his own life one worth writing about.
