LDS Childrens sing along app

LDS Children’s Sing-Along app

It’s after a morning shower. He’s sitting on the regular toilet with his seat on top to make the opening smaller. There is no opening down the toilet unless he parts his legs pretty wide.
He poops, a little. But I know he has to go more.
He wants to get off. I want him to sit a little longer. I encourage him to do so by giving him my phone to play one of his games. (He loves the LDS Children’s Sing-Along app by LDS Mobile Apps.)

I continue getting ready.
I suddenly hear him yelling. I can’t figure out why he is yelling. He wants off the potty. Then, he points to the bowl where my phone is residing.

My phone sat in rice for three days, but didn’t survive.

I’m thinking it will be cheaper to keep him in diapers for another year (and buy a waterproof case), than it would be to continue along our (very expensive) current path.
I’m putting the idea in rice for a few days. I don’t know if it/we will survive.

My son asked to play his sing-along app today.
NO. Mom doesn’t have a phone. You broke it.

He did not ask to go potty.
