This is the first Cultural Hall episode on the road. We had to drive all the way down to Cedar City, so we could sit down with Del Parson, mormon artist. In this episode Laurens mic is finally loud enough, FINALLY! Richie T could use a blessing, this is his second week in a row of having a voice like a “sickie”.
Del talks about his inspiration for painting the “Jesus in Red Robes” that is so commonly use throughout the church. He also talks about what he does with his paintings when there is no inspiration.
Oh…and I found my teeth. They were broken unfortunately. But worth it for this awesome episode of The Cultural Hall.

I see he doesn’t have a portrait of Judas…yet. I wonder if Judas had all of his teeth? likely not.
I appreciate Del’s sharing about the deaths of his wife and daughter. I’m sure it wasn’t easy, but I think it added a depth and connection to the conversation that may not have been there otherwise.
